Directors Statement

"Raising awareness has always been at the forefront of my creativity. Real life issues, topics and stories have always been what inspires me and drives me to create. I have seen the effects of dementia first hand and the impacts it has on children and families. After researching it further, I was intrigued by peoples ability to retain skills such as playing a musical instrument even when they are suffering significant memory loss.

I chose to explore this further in the film with the aim being to bring a moment of lightness to such a heavy topic."
