When Gerald - a new choir director enthralled to his notebook with its uncompromisingly revolutionary approach to rehearsals - arrives at St Cuthbert’s Church, his unrelenting subservience to his notebook threatens to destroy both Rosemary’s beloved choir and her worldview forever. As the most important service of the Church year approaches, does the quiet, eminently conventional Rosemary have the courage to break the rules to save what she loves - and even save Gerald - before it’s too late?
